New software for analysis of intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and optical coherence tomography (OCT) data has been designed for applications in a clinical setting.
Pie Medical Imaging (PMI; Maastricht, the Netherlands) expands its wide range of cardiovascular quantification and visualization software with CAAS IntraVascular. PMI developed this website to respond to the growing demand for intravascular image analysis solution and designed it to optimize the clinical workflow. This product facilitates fast data transfer from the console or picture archiving and communication system (PACS), a fast and effective analysis and on-the- fly reporting.
Boudewijn Verstraelen, Pie Medical Imaging’s CEO, stated, “With this application we succeeded to develop an accurate, fast, and easy to use software solution. CAAS IntraVascular will save time due to the automatic contour detection and fast contour editing. The software creates a patient report that can be customized with additional screenshots and comments. The workflow assistant and the connectivity to PACS and acquisition console make this product very easy to use.”
