A large digital imaging solutions provider has showcased a series of new Digital Radiography (DR) solutions and tools.
The solutions include a DR system that consists of a tablet computer and a wireless DR system, as well as control software with scatter correction capabilities, a manual-positioning DR system, a digital X-Ray system, and a digital X-Ray acquisition cart.
The new products were showcased by Canon USA (Melville, NY) and their wholly owned subsidiary Virtual Imaging at the Association for Medical Imaging Management (AHRA) 2016 show in Nashville, TN, USA.
The DR Tablet consists of a ruggedized tablet, the Canon wireless CXDI DR system, and the CXDI Control Software NE. Other new products include the CXDI Control Software NE with Scatter Correction that enables radiography technologists to shorten exam times for certain types of X-Ray exams by dispensing with the need for a scatter grid, the new RadPRO OMNERA 400T Manual-Positioning DR system that has a rugged aluminum design and can support patients up to 295 kg in weight, the RadPRO OMNERA 400T that has a lightweight six-way elevating table to facilitate handling by radiography technologists, the RadPRO 40kW FLEX PLUS digital X-Ray system that has a telescopic column and is intended for capturing high-quality diagnostic images, and the RadPRO DELINIA 200 Digital X-Ray acquisition cart that can be used with any of Canon’s CXDI-701C, 801C or 401C wireless DR detectors. Virtual Imaging also provides Protection Plus3 and other service programs that include cover for unlimited repairs.
