A new version of an enterprise medical image management and advanced visualization solution has been launched at the 2015 European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna (Austria).

The visualization solution provider also released new processing capabilities for cardiac Magnetic Resonance (MR), optimized low-dose workflow enhancements, dynamic multi-modality volume fusion, enhanced editing for complex interventional exams, and other new advanced clinical features.

The iNtuition enterprise image management and viewing solution, and the other innovations were developed by 3-D visualization solution provider TeraRecon (Foster City, CA, USA). The iNtuition solution integrates with the TeraRecon iNteract+ interoperability platform.

The iNtuition and iNteract+ solutions both improve the accessibility, performance, clinical functionality and workflow in the hospital. The iNteract+ solution enhances the clinical end-user experience provided by image processing and acquisition systems such as Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and Vendor Neutral Archives (VNA).

Randolph Sternberg, EU Director of Sales at TeraRecon, said, “TeraRecon continues to innovate and deliver the highest level of clinical performance with an ever-broadening range of advanced visualization tools. Equally important are our new iNteract+ technologies that allow our viewers to intelligently display images and clinical information in context, to promote informed imaging workflows in ways never before possible.”
