Guerbet (Villepinte, France) is exhibiting its current range of contrast media, injections systems, medical devices, digital and AI solutions at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna, Austria.

At ECR 2023, Guerbet is introducing the new version of Optistar Elite, a dual head MRI contrast delivery system that enables more precise protocols and is configured for the next generation GBCA. Designed to address the needs of healthcare professionals in the magnetic resonance (MR) room, OptiStar Elite features an ultrasonic motor that makes it non-magnetic and built for long lasting performance. In addition, Guerbet is showcasing the OptiVantage Multi-use dual-head CT injector that allows a uniform vascular enhancement throughout the procedure. It helps reduce the contrast load up to 40%, maintain image quality, all in a 1 click contrast media injection efficiency add-on.

Experts at the Guerbet booth will be presenting various AI projects in oncological imaging: prostate, liver, pancreas and bone lesions. They will also demonstrate how the company’s AI-based icobrain software solution can be used to enhance clinical routine for neurological conditions. icobrain is an image analysis service to quantify disease-specific brain structures for acute and chronic neurological conditions on MR and CT. The icobrain portfolio offers cloud-based AI solutions to assist healthcare professionals in adopting clinical practice guidelines. Among its other digital solutions, Guerbet is demonstrating how Contrast&Care can simplify contrast media traceability and support informed decisions, alongside Dose&Care, its state-of-the-art digital solution to aid monitoring of patient radiation exposure.
