GE HealthCare (Chicago, IL, USA) is participating in the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) for the first time as an independent publicly traded company dedicated to delivering more precise, connected, and compassionate care. Following the renewal of its collaboration with the European Society of Radiology (ESR), GE HealthCare’s participation at ECR 2023 is centered on three strategic pillars: Smart and Connected Care, Patient Care, and Future Innovations, all aimed at providing integrated solutions that help make hospitals more efficient, clinicians more effective, therapies more precise and patients healthier. The company is hosting 35+ scientific sessions and showcasing 35+ innovations in an exhibition area exceeding 2,000m² area, its largest yet.

GE HealthCare’s key focus this year is Care that has no limits: care that brings 100 years of experience to the table; that revitalizes and revolutionizes the industry; and that discovers the next breakthroughs in imaging, digital health, and pharmaceutical diagnostics, to deliver the future of healthcare. GE HealthCare is unveiling several imaging innovations and offering new immersive experiences, including a Care Pathway Experience with an interactive gaming component that challenges visitors on a variety of patient cases and an Emergency Department Experience that focuses on how staff can tackle increasing pressures. By popular demand, the company has also brought back the One-Stop Clinic™ for Breast as well as the Ultrasound and Invenia™ ABUS Clinical Education Workshops. In addition, with Imaging 360 for Operations, GE HealthCare is launching an operational hub with a 360° view that enables radiology departments to make data-driven decisions and deliver better clinical, operational, and financial outcomes. GE HealthCare is also hosting a rich program of sessions, symposia, and interactive experiences at this year’s congress.

“We are pleased to renew our collaboration once again with the European Society of Radiology for ECR 2023. This year, as a new and independent GE HealthCare, we are focused on care that has no limits – that can solve problems, that can empower, and that can deliver the future of healthcare. As a company, we have entered a new era and with it, we hope to help transform healthcare by advancing precision diagnostics, improving capacity and efficiency, and increasing patient access. We are proud to work with ESR to showcase solutions that address the issues that the industry is facing,” said Rob Walton, President & CEO, GE HealthCare EMEA.

“The ESR is a Society that strives to advance medical imaging practice and the patient experience – these are our top priorities. In this way, GE HealthCare’s focus this year on care that has no limits is in line with our goals. We look forward to the continuation and growth of our partnership at ECR 2023, which is one of the best opportunities for advancing our field and realizing these goals,” said Adrian Brady, Congress President for ECR 2023.
