Rayence Inc. (Fort Lee, New Jersey, USA), a manufacturer of digital X-ray detectors, has announced that its parent company, Rayence Co. Ltd. (Gyeonggi-do, South Korea) has acquired OSKO Digital X-ray Solutions (Miami, Florida, USA), which sells ultrasound systems, DR X-ray solutions as well as PACS and auto stitching software.

The purchase was completed in late September and Rayence plans to leverage the new competitive advantage with its existing detector distribution and production core values and software solutions, to further promote its total imaging solution business in the US. Osko will act as the main resource center for development, production, logistics and customer services, while Rayence Inc. will focus on marketing and sales.

James Hyun (Hyun, Junghoon), CEO at Rayence Co. Ltd., said, “We increased our global detector sales by finding new markets in the world. At the same time, we are restructuring and upgrading our business model to reflect a complete DR package and solution business. We are anticipating additional investments to further develop differentiated products, expand our manufacturing lines and warehouse capacity.”
