A new scatter correction algorithm can provide high chest image contrast without grid handling.
When doing digital radiography (DR) exams without a grid, Philips Healthcare’s (Best, The Netherlands) SkyFlow generate images with grid-like contrast. It reduces the effect of scattered radiation for non-grid bedside chest exams, providing excellent DR image quality without grid handling, thereby avoiding the time and effort associated with having to attach and detach a grid for portable chest exams.
