EDAN Instruments Demonstrates Flagship Models Offering Ease of Imaging in Lightweight Design
By MedImaging International staff writers Posted on 27 Nov 2023 |

EDAN Instruments, Inc. (Shenzhen, China) is showcasing its flagship models that embrace the ease of imaging in a lightweight design at RSNA 2023.
EDAN is presenting its Acclarix AX8 diagnostic ultrasound system with advanced imaging technologies, dual touch screens, and a gesture-control user interface. The Acclarix AX8 features a full suite of next-generation transducers that support a wide range of clinical applications. The highly portable system which can be taken anywhere it is needed features TAI, a unique and proprietary technology pioneered by EDAN. TAI continuously and dynamically interacts with the returning echoes and adapts the image based on the characteristics of the tissues being imaged. Without any user interaction, the system adjusts multiple parameters. TAI is available in B-mode, color, and spectral Doppler.
At RSNA 2023, EDAN is highlighting the Acclarix AX3 point-of-care ultrasound system which comes with unique dual sockets and dual batteries in a 4.5kg lightweight magnesium alloy body. The compact ultrasound system delivers a surprising combination of features to meet the demands of point-of-care imaging. The Acclarix AX3 also features EDAN’s innovative TAI technology and multiple imaging processing technologies, for a perfect display of ultrasound images in different modes and assisting the sonographer in making accurate diagnoses. With its unique ergonomic design and innovative technology, the Acclarix AX3 offers superb penetration and detail to enhance diagnostic confidence.
In addition, EDAN is showcasing two ready-to-launch products, the Nano Series handheld ultrasound systems, and the Acclarix AX9, the portable diagnostics ultrasound system. Their design combines portability and functionality, bringing in a user-friendly cutting-edge technology operation practice and ensuring effortless mobility with smooth operation.
