Barco Healthcare (Duluth, GA, USA) showcased its solutions for mammography, remote radiology reading, interventional radiology, QA and much more at RSNA 2021.
Barco was present during the entire tradeshow, both online and on-site, to share ideas about what it’s like to work in radiology, discuss recent advancements and talk about what the company has planned for the future. Barco showcased its remote reading solutions which provide offsite radiologists with the quality, flexibility and security they need. It demonstrated solutions specifically designed for remote radiology reading, tackling the issues of performance and workflow, security and patient privacy, as well as quality and compliance. Barco demonstrated its QAWeb Enterprise that helps manage quality and assure compliance with less effort, lower cost and full confidence. This fully automated and secure system guarantees consistent image quality and uptime for PACS display systems across the enterprise.
Barco highlighted its mammography display that helps breast radiologists see subtle breast microcalcifications and the smallest clinical details, make swift and confident diagnoses, and improve breast cancer detection. The company also highlighted its extensive line-up of high-precision medical monitors that bring accuracy and efficiency to a broad range of healthcare disciplines. Also on display was Barco’s extensive series of high-precision medical displays that helps medical professionals enable better health outcomes and work more efficiently in an increasingly complex healthcare enterprise. For radiologists, the company presented its full line of color, grayscale and multi-modality diagnostic displays, display controllers and QA tools.
Among other products, Barco demonstrated its ConnectCare service for diagnostic display fleets that starts with a professional health check of displays. Throughout its entire duration, the company’s dedicated team of experts monitor QAWeb Enterprise on a weekly basis. So when a quality compliancy issue occurs, it can be tackled at the source, right away. Barco also demonstrated NexxisLive, its collaboration solution for surgery. NexxisLive is a secure cloud-based software platform that makes it possible to involve the right people for any type of surgical intervention, wherever they are. As in many other professions, remote collaboration provides surgeons with a quick and flexible solution to offer or consult medical and technical knowledge, without losing time or needing travel. Teleassistance, teleconferencing, and telementoring: NexxisLive supports it all, in a strongly secured environment. The software platform enables participants anywhere to talk, chat and annotate as if they’re all in the same operating room, with excellent audio and video quality, and minimal latency.
