A compact, highly portable, and easy to use ultrasound system for Obstetrics and Gynecology accommodates the needs of private practices.
The Acuson X300 Premium Edition (PE) ultrasound system offers enhanced clinical performance across all modes, including three- and four-dimensional ((3D/4D) imaging. Workflow tools such as automated syngo Auto OB biometry measurements of the fetus streamline the exam process for greater patient throughput. Measurements are automatically saved into the patient's report and include the biparietal diameter (BPD), head circumference (HC), abdominal circumference (AC), femur length (FL), and the humerus length (HL). Other features include advanced fourSight volume imaging technology that delivers streamlined, intuitive workflow and advanced acquisition, data rendering, and postprocessing functionality for all examinations. The fourSight technology also offers easy offline analysis, remote review, and manipulation and storage of 3D/4D volumes, freeing the system for additional patient exams. The system also offers syngo velocity vector imaging (VVI) for fetal echocardiography, a sophisticated 2D tracking algorithm, which provides insight into fetal myocardial mechanics.
A suite of advanced imaging and transducer technologies supports breast, obstetrics, and gynecological imaging, with technologies such as multiview spatial compounding and dynamic tissue contrast enhancement (TCE) technology for improved contrast resolution and border enhancement in subtle tissue textures such as the endometrium. Further image enhancement is achieved through tissue grayscale optimization (TGO) technology, which provides one button optimization of B-mode images to shorten exam time, reduce repetitive motion, and provide greater consistency among users. Practical ergonomic features, including an adjustable control panel and an articulating flat panel display, provide optimal positioning of the system in tight spaces. Small, lightweight transducers complete the ergonomic package with advanced features such as Hanafy lens and MultiHertz multiple frequency imaging technologies, which provide excellent penetration with reduced scanning pressure. The Acuson X300 Premium Edition (PE) is a product of Siemens Healthcare (Erlangen, Germany).
"Syngo Auto OB measurement is a knowledge-based workflow application that eliminates the time-consuming manual process of biometry measurements with a savings up to 75% of the keystrokes,” said Norbert Gaus, CEO of Ultrasound at Siemens Healthcare. "Not only does this help to accelerate workflow, this may also help to reduce repetitive stress injury (RSI) among users.”
