The first ever FDA-approved AI-enabled X-ray system that is designed specifically for cardiology labs represents the next generational leap in image-guided X-ray systems.

Omega Medical Imaging LLC (Sanford, FL, USA) has launched the Soteria.AI image-guided cardiology system that combines the newest, most advanced technologies in medical imaging. The system is named after Soteria who is the Greek goddess of safety and salvation, deliverance, and preservation from harm. Soteria.AI delivers safety and function with state-of-the-art image processing and unmatched image quality.

Featuring an innovative design, Soteria.AI blends performance, reliability, and safety into a single system. An AI-enabled automatic ROI drives an ultra-fast secondary collimator that goes beyond mere filtering to allow Soteria.AI to reduce dose by up to ~84% while delivering spectacular image quality.
