Two New Imaging Centers Inaugurated in Tunisia

A manufacturer of full-body 2D and 3D stereo-radiographic image scanners has installed their equipment in the first two 2D/3D orthopedic medical imaging sites in Tunisia, in North African.
The equipment uses 95% less radiation than standard Computed Tomography (CT) scanners, and 50% to 85% less than digital radiology scanners.
EOS imaging (Paris, France) inaugurated the new centers at the Centre d'Imagerie Médicale Ariana (Tunis, Tunisia), and the Institut Mohamed Kassab d’Orthopédie (Tunis, Tunisia). EOS Imaging also provides solutions for orthopedic care image-based reports, and access to 3D models and patient data using the EOS 3D services suite. EOSapps online 3D surgical planning solutions are intended for 3D surgical planning for spine, hip and knee interventions, and implant selection. The company also presented its biplanar equipment, and other solutions to African clinicians at the Journées Francophones de Radiologie (JFR) meeting in Paris, France, in October 2016.
