Partnership Forged Between Toshiba America Medical Systems and Merge Healthcare

Merge Healthcare (Chicago, IL, USA), a leader in clinical systems and healthcare innovations has announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with Toshiba America Medical Systems (Tustin, CA, USA).

The agreement will enable Toshiba America Medical Systems to provide a turnkey solution for customers, and offer them a range of vascular X-ray systems, together with Merge Healthcare’s cardiology Picture Archive and Communications System (PACS), and hemodynamic monitoring solutions.

Toshiba can also use Merge’s Hemo real-time documentation tool to integrate the cardiac cath lab with the patient’s electronic health record, and with the Merge Cardio web-enabled enterprise-level image and information system that can be used with all cardiac modalities.

Toshiba American Medical System offers diagnostic imaging systems, and clinical diagnostic imaging research for all modalities in the US, including Computed Tomography (CT), X-ray, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and information systems.
