FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA (Stamford, CT, USA), a leading provider of diagnostic imaging products and medical informatics solutions, has demonstrated a new version of its comprehensive imaging and reporting solution at the 26th Annual Scientific Sessions of the American Society of Echocardiography.
The solution assists cardiologists in interpreting ultrasound images and in creating structured reports, within a structured workflow. The solution can reduce reading and reporting time by up to 50%, and generates preliminary diagnostic statements, which, when accepted by the clinician, are automatically included in the report.
The Synapse Cardiovascular version 6.0 is designed to help clinicians in specific workflows, namely echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, nuclear cardiology, ECG management, Computed Tomography (CT), and cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), cardiac catheterization and invasive peripheral vascular.
Jim Morgan, vice president of Medical Informatics, FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, said, “Created in collaboration with cardiologists and cardiovascular specialists, the latest version of Synapse Cardiovascular provides users with essential tools without adding complexity. With Synapse, our users are able to perform their job more efficiently and ultimately allow them to concentrate more on the patient and improve patient outcomes.”
