Fujifilm Unveils New Radiology and Ultrasound Systems at ECR 2022
By MedImaging International staff writers Posted on 13 Jul 2022 |

FUJIFILM Europe GmbH (Steinhausen, Switzerland) shared the latest innovative advances in CT, MRI, X-ray, AI, PACS, endoscopy, and ultrasound systems at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2022.
At ECR 2022, FUJIFILM unveiled two new family members of the ARIETTA DeepInsight ultrasound series – the Arietta 850 DeepInsight and Arietta 650 DeepInsight. Both the new ultrasound scanners are the first to include Fujifilm's DeepInsight cognitive ultrasound technology, which is designed to reduce variability in scans and enable more accurate exams. Both the systems come with improvements designed to streamline workflow and reduce operator stress, and also include clinical applications to cover a wide range of fields. The Arietta 850 DeepInsight and Arietta 650 DeepInsight also feature technologies such as real-time tissue elastography for color-coding tissue and shear-wave measurement, for measuring tissue stiffness.
Additionally, FUJIFILM offered insights into the OASIS Velocity high-field MRI scanner – the only truly open high-field MRI scanner with SynergyDrive – that delivers a streamlined workflow and enhanced patient experience, combined with a unique open gantry, integrated radiofrequency (RF) coils and powerful reconstruction technologies for faster whole-body imaging. FUJIFILM also presented ECHELON Smart Plus with ‘REALISE Plus’, a superconductive 1.5T MRI system with a brand new version of the SynergyDrive Automation Suite. SynergyDrive was originally designed to address the bottlenecks in the MRI workflow, accelerating scanning and simplifying the key processes to achieve quick and consistent results coupled with high-quality images. Combined with SoftSound technology for very quiet examinations, this 1.5T MRI system offers a remarkable patient and user experience. The new version of the system offers a ‘Plus’ in speed, quality, and application to reach unprecedented scan speeds.
“ECHELON Smart Plus with ‘REALISE Plus’ is a perfect fit for mid-sized diagnostic centers, private practices and outpatient centers looking for an MRI that meets high demands on patient-centricity, performance and service, coupled with a fast return on investment,” said Luigi Lunetta, Head of MR/CT Business at FUJIFILM Healthcare Europe.
