SuperSonic Imagine Introduces Ultrasound System at ECR

SuperSonic Imagine (Aix-en-Provence, France), a company specializing in ultrasound medical imaging, introduced its Aixplorer MACH 30 ultrasound system at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR 2019) held in Vienna, Austria, from February 27 to March 3, 2019. The Congress, which celebrated its 25th anniversary this year, was organized by the European Society of Radiology (ESR) and attracted more than 28,000 medical imaging professionals from over 100 countries.

At ECR 2019, SuperSonic Imagine organized model demonstrations of the Aixplorer MACH 30, which provides a new insight into ultrasound imaging. The Aixplorer MACH 30 introduces a new generation of UltraFast imaging which helps optimize all modes of imaging (Doppler UltraFast, Angio PL.U.S - Planewave UltraSensitive Imaging and TriVu) to provide better diagnostic performance while offering exceptional image quality on all conventional imaging modes, thanks to the preserved purity of the ultrasound signal.

It also features a new generation of ShearWave elastography (SWE PLUS) which makes it possible to view and measure tissue stiffness in real time on a significantly improved color map, notably in terms of acquisition speed, size of the elastography region of interest and examination depth. Additionally, Aixplorer MACH 30 features the SonicPad touchpad, which is designed to simplify user experience and improves the radiologist's workflow by reducing from 77% the user's movements, thus reducing the time per exam of more than 30%.
