A US FDA-approved and CE-certified Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography (PET/CT) system has been launched for global markets.
The innovative system can create high-detail, low dose images, and more accurate and higher-quality diagnostic imaging data. The system uses high-end electronics components, boasts fast acquisition and post processing speeds, and is suitable for high-volume and high-throughput workflows.
The NeuSight PET/CT system is the result of a collaboration between, Neusoft Medical Systems (Shenyang, China) and Positron (Westmont, IL, USA), a pioneer in cardiac PET technology in the US. Positron is now fully owned by Neusoft, and has more than 20 PET installations in the US. Neusoft Medical Systems is the leading provider of medical equipment and service in the Chinese market, with subsidiaries in the US, Russia, Brazil, United Arab Emirates, Peru, and Vietnam. Neusoft produces Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), X-Ray, and ultrasound systems, linear accelerators, and In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) products.
Mr. Patrick Wu, CEO of Neusoft Medical Systems said, "As a leading medical equipment provider, Neusoft Medical Systems set software technology as our core. We have continuously contributing software and product engineering innovation to China's medical industry for more than 20 years. The launch of NeuSight PET/CT is a new breakthrough for Neusoft in high-end medical equipment. Looking forward, we will make great efforts in innovation and operational excellence to offer high-quality medical products and services worldwide."
