The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA, Oak Brook, IL, USA) has announced highlights of the Technical Exhibits at RSNA 2024: Building Intelligent Connections, the Society’s 110th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting, taking place in Chicago at McCormick Place from Dec. 1-5, 2024.

Artificial intelligence (AI) continues to play a growing role in medical imaging. As the world’s leading professional radiology organization, RSNA aims to provide the required expertise, guidance, and tools for the ethical application of AI technology in the field. At RSNA 2024, attendees will discover the latest AI research, education, and technological advances driving the future of medical imaging. The RSNA Technical Exhibits which will be open Sunday, Dec. 1, through Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT will occupy the North and South Halls at McCormick Place, covering over 400,000 square feet of space and showcasing a wide range of innovations in medical imaging, including CT, MRI, PACS, AI, advanced visualization, augmented reality, cybersecurity, and more. Prominently featured in the South Hall, the expansive AI Showcase, sponsored by Bayer in Radiology Digital Solutions and Subtle Medical, remains the premier place for attendees to connect with over 100 companies offering next-level radiology AI software and products, to see the possibilities of AI firsthand in the RSNA AI Theater, and to network with AI industry leaders and colleagues. “Radiology Reimagined: AI, innovation and interoperability in practice,” formerly known as “Imaging AI in Practice,” features a demonstration of new AI technologies and integration standards needed to embed AI into the diagnostic radiology workflow. The interactive exhibit, located within the AI Showcase, will enable attendees to introduce and scale AI into their radiology practices.

Located in the North Hall, the 3D Printing & Mixed Reality Showcase highlights the latest products in 3D printing equipment and software, as well as products like augmented reality, holography and virtual reality. In the South Hall, the First-Time Exhibitor Pavilion offers a prime location for new exhibitors to maximize their exposure and engage with their top prospects. This year, RSNA has introduced the One Day Showcase in the North Hall, featuring new exhibitors each day. The showcase will feature local Chicago attractions, start-up companies and service organizations. Also new this year, Exhibit Tours will be offered Dec. 1-4. These guided tours through the Technical Exhibits allow attendees to connect with colleagues and industry leaders, while gaining insight and a VIP look at cutting-edge technology and equipment. The tours, available as an add-on to meeting registration, focus on What’s New at RSNA 2024, Innovations in Imaging AI, and AI and Workflow Support.

RSNA 2024 will also feature specialty exhibits, such as Educators Row and Recruiters Row. Educators Row is reserved for publishers, radiology-related associations and educational institutions. Recruiters Row is home to the latest job postings from across the field. Within Recruiters Row, the Career Connect booth provides opportunities for companies actively recruiting, while the RSNA Professional Portrait Studio offers free professional headshots to attendees. Industry sessions scheduled throughout the week include corporate symposiums, vendor workshops, lunch & learns, Innovation Theater presentations and virtual industry presentations. Returning is the popular Technical Exhibits Happy Hour, taking place in both halls on Tuesday, December 3, from 3 to 5 p.m., featuring food, beverages, games and live music.

“We are excited to host the world’s largest radiology exhibition in Chicago at RSNA 2024,” said John P. Jaworski, C.E.M., RSNA assistant executive director of RSNA Meeting Services & Corporate Relations. “Over 700 companies from across the globe will be displaying product innovations to improve patient care.”
