The evolution of C-arm technology has been truly remarkable, ushering in the era of mobile and mini C-arms. These advancements have provided surgeons with the gift of mobility and improved image quality, enabling them to track surgical progress in real time and swiftly identify the areas for improvement. This translates into better treatment outcomes, speedier patient recovery, and a reduced need for subsequent procedures. The incorporation of Flat Panel Detectors (FPD) in C-arms has contributed to this advancement by lowering radiation exposure. The rising prevalence and awareness of chronic conditions like neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, and cardiovascular diseases, which frequently demand surgical interventions, are driving the growth of the global fixed and mobile C-arms market. Furthermore, the growing elderly population, more prone to chronic ailments, combined with a preference for minimally invasive surgical techniques, is anticipated to further boost market growth.

On the basis of application, the orthopedics and trauma segment held the largest revenue share of over 22.7% of the fixed and mobile C-arms market in 2022.
