PaxeraHealth (Newton, MA, USA) showcased its PaxeraShare image-sharing platform at the 2019 European Congress of Radiology (ECR) annual meeting, February 27 through March 3, in Vienna, Austria. PaxeraShare is a modern approach to image sharing and data access. Designed using the latest HTML5 technology, the platform does not require installation of any software.
PaxeraShare enables recipients, including physicians or patients, to instantly view images and reports from any browser or smart device, irrespective of the operating system or file type. It also provides healthcare providers with the ability to share images and report directly with their patients through the CareRad app, which is available to them free of cost on App Store and Google Play.
PaxeraShare can be easily deployed in a few hours on top of any existing picture archiving and communication system (PACS) and does not require any customization of information technology (IT). The platform improves care management by allowing physicians to share images easily and securely with just a click or create a temporary link for the study. This does away with the need for taking burned CDs or DVDs to the hospital, lowering costs, reducing readmissions, and enhancing clinical care.
At ECR 2019, PaxeraHealth also showcased PaxeraUltima, a powerful browser-based, all-encompassing multi-modality medical viewer. It provides a consolidated work list and an easy to use universal viewer with a full spectrum of diagnostics and reporting tools – all from a single login.
