Shimadzu (Kyoto, Japan) showcased its latest cutting-edge product and clinical applications during the virtual exhibition at the ECR 2021, the second-largest radiological meeting in the world with attendees spanning all areas of the radiology arena, including radiology professionals, radiographers, physicists, and industry representatives.
At the ECR 2021 held in Vienna, Austria from March 3-10, 2021, Shimadzu demonstrated its latest advanced clinical application solutions, including Trinias unity edition angiography system, which facilitates high-level interventions using a proprietary image processing technology. The next generation angiography system supports less invasive treatments through a variety of applications.
The company also demonstrated Sonialvision G4 LX edition, a multifunctional R/F system with new functions that provides innovations in all areas, such as patient handling and care, dose reduction and image quality, as well as more simplified workflows. It features advanced technologies to ensure that current and future imaging needs are realized with Slot radiography, Tomosynthesis and DSA & RSM-DSA. Shimadzu showcased the FLUOROspeed X1 edition, a universal R/F system with patient-side operation that is designed to consider all users in a diversity of situation, making it ideal for a variety of examinations. The system’s state-of-the-art digital imaging provides excellent image quality while optimizing X-ray dose levels.
Other cutting-edge product and clinical applications demonstrated by Shimadzu at ECR 2021 included the RADspeed Pro DR high-performance digital radiographic system with extended functionality, the Opescope Acteno surgical C-arm with amazing operability and excellent image quality, the MobileDaRt Evolution MX8 series state-of-the-art and agile digital X-ray system, the LIGHTVISION high-definition near-infrared fluorescence imaging system, and the MALDI-8020 benchtop, linear MALDI-TOF mass spectrometer which combines speed, accuracy, and performance.
