Thales Group (Paris, France) has launched its new X-ray detectors for radiography and fluoroscopy at RSNA 2020.

Thales’ new Pixium Portable EZ2 HD family of portable detectors for radiography is available in three sizes and offer high performances along with added value features such as a small pixel pitch, IPX6 and NFC. Thales’s Wi-Fi flat panel detectors family offers true mobility, excellent durability and extended battery autonomy. The Pixium Portable EZ2 HD X-ray detectors offer outstanding image quality at minimal dose, best in class pre-processing software and best autonomy for extended utilization. After full discharge of the external battery, the detectors continue to function for five hours, allowing the user to extend the detector usage as required.

Thales also launched the new Pixium RF 4343 F5, the most advanced fluoroscopy detector in the market that offers added value innovations with increased speed up to 150 frames per second, 10 Gbit Ethernet and cold start. The Pixium RF 4343 F5 enables all decisive applications from radiography to fluoroscopy and angiography.
