Study Uses MRI to Determine the Progression of Cerebral Malaria in Malawi

Researchers have used Magnetic Resonance Imaging to find the pathogenetic processes and causes of death in children suffering from Cerebral Malaria in Malawi. MRI scans only became available in Malawi in the year 2009.
