A digital upgrade kit is designed to convert existing MinXray radiography systems to the latest in digital imaging technology.

The MDRK2 conversion kit is composed of two component housings fabricated from durable, lightweight aircraft aluminum alloy and ABS plastic, a Varian (Palo Alto, CA, USA) PaxScan 4336R imaging panel and the latest Dell (Round Rock TX, USA) Latitude ruggedized laptop computer. Each component of the MDRK2 was specifically selected and designed for the simple integration with the MinXray HF120/60HPPWV PowerPlus /XGS mobile stand configuration, and provides exceptional performance as the completed CMDR-2S portable direct radiography system.

Designed specifically for the mobile imaging market, the CMDR-2S is easily transported to field locations and is ready for imaging within minutes. Wireless transmission of acquired images to a separate review station or picture archiving and communication system (PACS) additionally enhances the suitability of the system for onsite imaging at nursing homes, athletic events, military installations, disaster response or anytime it is difficult to bring a patient to an imaging facility.
