ALPINION Medical Systems (Seoul, South Korea) is showcasing its latest diagnostic ultrasound technology, as well as its premium product range X-CUBE 90 and 70 with Elite and superior image quality portable ultrasounds at RSNA 2023.

ALPINION is demonstrating live scanning performances across its full range of products, from its flagship model, the X-CUBE 90 with Elite, to the powerful and portable X-CUBE i9 system, and its handheld device, minisono. The X-CUBE 90/70 on GPX is designed based on the X+ Architecture platform consisting of X+ FIT beam forming and X+ Crystal Signature transducers and is incorporated with X+ Focus, an imaging process that reduces noise and artifacts. Accordingly, this device provides delicate tissue differentiation performance with excellent resolution, contrast, and uniformity. In addition, this device has enhanced function, increasing the accuracy of diagnosis for internal medicine and ob-gyn staff. The ATI (Attenuation Imaging) function for fatty liver analysis and the 2D SWE (Shearwave Elastography) function that measures tissue stiffness along with the Color Map can quantitatively diagnose liver, breast, and thyroid diseases.

At RSNA 2023, ALPINION is demonstrating its recently launched X-CUBE i9 portable ultrasound diagnostic device, with dual batteries and probe connectors that greatly enhances the speed and efficiency of examinations. The X-CUBE i9 can be ready in just one minute and the two batteries provide a higher level of portability, allowing operation for 100 hours in standby mode and more than 1 hour in scan mode. Thanks to its dual connector for installing two types of probe, the X-CUBE i9 enables rapid examination in various situations, such as when there is difficulty moving patients or various parts need to be scanned, and it is easy to carry with a lightweight (under 6 kg) and its own dedicated cart/carrying bag.

ALPINION is demonstrating its Minisono tablet-based ultrasound diagnostic system that is smaller, simpler to use, and more compact. The Alpinion Minisono can be connected to a Microsoft Surface tablet and performs ultrasound scans using software supported by the Windows platform. The new generation, tablet-based ultrasound diagnostic system is smaller, simpler, and more compact than the existing bulky, complicated systems. The small, portable ultrasound system can be used conveniently, even in tight spaces, without having to change the position of the patient or other devices.
