Wireless Portable Digital Radiography Detector Useful for Imaging Patients with Limited Mobility

A new wireless and portable digital radiography (DR) detector gives radiologists the flexibility to freely move about in the DR room, which is particularly useful for capturing images of patients with limited mobility, who can now undergo X-ray examinations from their bed or wheelchair. As an additional detector for Philips Digital Diagnost stationary single and dual detector configurations, it enhances workflow and increases efficiency. Its cable-free design helps healthcare providers to meet high hygiene standards and allows for convenient handling. With completely integrated solutions from Philips it is even possible to alternate between a wireless portable detector and computed radiography (CR) cassettes.

Using the intuitive Eleva user interface and image processing, the portable detector allows fast and smooth DR examinations, enabling images to be quickly processed and displayed.
