A second-generation flat-panel detector provides excellent performance in image and workflow. The flying detector's new technology is a suitable solution for a complete clinical coverage and high patient workflow.

The flying detector's new technology provides the freedom to take images from any position or angle, and can be part of the wall stand or inserted into the table. From head to toe, the user can image patients with a high level of quality and efficiency.

To better meet the user's specific needs, the system comes in three configurations, with a full complement of accessory options: digital wall stand only for chest specialized room or multipurpose room. The wall stand plus table with single shared detector, which is an economic choice for full application coverage. The wallstand plus table with two detectors provides high productivity room for all applications

GE Healthcare's (Chalfont St. Giles, UK) flat panel detector provides images as clear as possible from a system that provides maximum diagnostic information from every exposure. The detector provides this by combining high image quality while enabling advanced clinical applications. For chest and abdomen exams, the system reviews the soft tissue with no obstruction by the ribs and the bones with no interference of soft tissue. The system also provides excellent image quality in difficult-to-visualize regions.
