Sectra (Linköping, Sweden) signed five to eight year contracts for radiology IT solutions with two Dutch hospitals, Elkerliek Ziekenhuis and St. Elisabeth Hospital Tilburg.

The company will upgrade the hospitals’ existing systems for managing digital radiology images (PACS) and provide service and support. Sectra’s system for efficient handling of patient information (RIS) will also be implemented.

“In the past six months, we have seen an increase in the number of Dutch hospitals that make additional investments to take on our overall solution. This is proof that we have cost-efficient products that meet our customers’ demands,” says Marie Ekström, head of Sectra’s radiology IT business.
