Demonstrating a firm commitment to customer satisfaction, Siemens Medical Solutions (Erlangen, Germany) led the industry in the 2005 ServiceTrak Imaging All Systems report, and was ranked as No. 1 in overall manufacturer performance. Furthermore, customers awarded Siemens the highest marks in 22 of 33 service categories.

Developed by IMV (Greenbelt, MD, USA), a leading provider of market analysis and customer satisfaction assessment, ServiceTrak presents an independent analysis of service trends in the imaging industry and manufacturer ratings. The 2005 ServiceTrak Imaging All Systems report surveyed respondents using more than 6,200 imaging systems across several methods, including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), x-ray, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound. Customers were asked to rate systems on a six-point scale in categories ranging from overall satisfaction and system performance to help desk/hotline performance and service engineer support.

"With No. 1 rankings across most categories such as remote support, installations, and training, service relative to charge and repurchase probability, the IMV ServiceTrak report confirms that our customers trust us to provide the complete solution to help them achieve best-in-class performance and deliver quality patient care,” said Randy Hill, senior vice president, National Service, Customer Solutions Group, Siemens Medical Solutions.

Among the service areas where Siemens excelled was remote support. Customers recognized the company for its effectiveness of phone support, meeting commitments, diagnosing, and solving problems remotely, time to complete emergency repairs and remote diagnostics satisfaction.
