"Ziehm C-arms' high capability of integration into existent and modern IT [information technology] structures made it an easy decision for us to cooperate with the company,” commented Oliver Lehner, managing director of Radin. "By integrating the Radin Server into the C-arm, we are able to provide, together with Ziehm Imaging, a technologically advanced holistic solution for an integrated communication center.”
The system combines the functions of online viewing of the image data generated by the C-arm with the web-based picture archiving and communications systems (PACS) and image distribution functionalities of the Radin system. This integrative concept provides the user with many advantages in terms of increased efficiency, improved patient care, and cost savings. Among other features, the system distinguishes itself by easy handling, fast image acquisition and analysis, and rapid access.
"The future lies in web-based image and data management,” stated Dr. Jorg Peter Strobel, managing director of Ziehm Imaging. "The trend towards digital transformation of hospitals generates a strong demand for medical image processing systems. Mobile C-arms are being used for an ever-increasing range of tasks in medicine. Jointly with Radin, we unite key technologies, provide functional features that are ahead of the trend, and face the future with confidence and determination.”
