State-of-the art medical digitizing imaging equipment will be sold at an auction on February 15, 2001, in Niceville, Florida. The equipment includes radiology record digitizing stations, quality assurance stations, an optical disk writing station, a DICOM conversion station, a 100-megabit Ethernet network, and other equipment.

"This equipment will scan and digitize x-ray film in eight seconds into a filmless library,” stated Lamar P. Fisher, Sr., president of Fisher Auction. "Other equipment on the market takes up to a minute and a half to convert film onto disk.”

The auction will begin at 10:00 a.m. (central time) and will be conducted by Fisher Auction Co. (Pompano Beach, FL, USA) on behalf of GE Capital Small Business Finance Corporation to liquidate the assets of Emerald Archiving. Details are available on the website or by e-mail (info@fisherauction.com) or phone (954-942-0917).
