Multifunction Workstation Screen Meets Critical Certification Standards for Medical Environments

A medical imaging equipment vendor has unveiled a new workstation with a 54.61 cm true flat screen designed for operating rooms, clinical stations, and Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS).

The workstation meets the required certification standards, and complies with FCC-B and CE regulations for medical environments. The front touch panel of the workstation is IP65-rated and can be easily cleaned with anti-bacterial cleaning agents. The workstation weighs 6.8 kg, and is designed for reduced glare, boasts a wide viewing angle, and standard VESA 75/100 hole pattern for mounting on a wall or desk stand.

The multifunctional M2150 expert medical workstation is the latest in a line of workstations from Arbor Solution North America (San Jose, CA; USA), and is available with a choice of different microprocessors. The M2150 provides good visual performance, and can be used for graphics-intense applications on PACS, in operating rooms, and clinical stations.
