Sectra (Linköping, Sweden) an international medical imaging IT provider that develops and sells medical IT and secure communication products and services has been awarded “Best in KLAS” for highest customer satisfaction, for the United States (US) and global categories in 2014. Sectra manages more than 70 million radiology examinations annually.

The awards were presented as part of the report “2014 Best in KLAS: Software and Services” by KLAS Research (Orem, UT, USA). The global category ranked product and vendor performance in Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Patient Administration System (PAS), and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

This was the first year that the new Global (PACS) category was awarded. Sectra was also awarded “Best in KLAS” for hospitals in the US with over 200 beds in 2013. Sectra won all the PACS honors in the US market and was awarded “Category Leader” for both Community PACS (hospitals with less than 200 beds), and Ambulatory PACS (imaging centers and radiology groups).

Adam Gale, CEO and president of KLAS Research commented, “We are honored to be able to continue to work with talented healthcare providers to create the annual Best in KLAS report. Their feedback is beneficial as vendors strive for excellence.
