New high-definition volume rendering (HDVR) software provides the ease-of-integration and quick time-to-market required in the current fast-paced imaging environment.

Fovia Medical, Inc. (Palo Alto, CA, USA), a developer of volume-rendering technology, presented an expanded high-definition volume-rendering (HDVR) software range, featuring F.A.S.T. HDVR, at the 100th scientific assembly and annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), held November 30 to December 5, 2014 , in Chicago (IL, USA). Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) can utilize central processing unit (CPU)-based F.A.S.T. HDVR to enhance their visualization rapidly and cost-effectively.
