Agreement for U.S. Distribution of Enterprise Image Management Solutions

Mach 7 Technologies (Schaumberg, IL, USA), a global provider of flexible, picture archiving and communications system (PACS)-neutral healthcare image management solutions, has formalized a product distribution agreement with Data Distributing (Santa Cruz, CA, USA), an international provider of digital image distribution and archiving solutions to the medical industry. Under the terms of the agreement, Data Distributing will market Mach 7 Technologies' Keystone Suite, an enterprise image-management platform, in the United States.

The agreement provides Mach 7 Technologies with expanded distribution of its flagship software product, while enabling Data Distributing to enter the fast growing PACS-neutral technology market with an innovative product solution. With Keystone Suite, Data Distributing gains a proven product to design and implement solutions for PACS-neutral archiving, intelligent image navigation, Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) attribute normalization, open electronic medical record (EMR) image enablement, and monitoring of the enterprise image continuum.

As an enterprise image-management platform, Keystone Suite is designed to enhance existing PACS investments by enabling improved movement and storage of image data using PACS-friendly/PACS-neutral software solutions. Because they free healthcare enterprises from the restrictions of vendor-specific architectures, PACS-neutral solutions can lower switching and replacement costs, and enable users to create a cost-effective, common clinical image viewing solution in heterogeneous, multiple medical PACS environments.
