The European Congress of Radiology (ECR), the annual meeting of the European Society of Radiology (Vienna, Austria), is taking place onsite and online on March 1-5, 2023, in Vienna, Austria. The ECR is one of the largest medical congresses in the world, attracting thousands of congress participants each year. With hundreds of companies showcasing their products at its technical exhibition, it is also one of the largest medical exhibitions in Europe.

ECR 2023 is offering an exceptional collection of sessions, workshops, plenary lectures, courses, quizzes and an array of additional activities. This year's theme, 'The Cycle of Life', highlights the crucial role of radiology in healthcare across all stages of life. ECR 2023 is once again offering Open Forum sessions, each focusing on one of three themes – Trainees, Radiography, and ESR program and activities. A highlight of ECR 2023 is the Trainees in Focus program, which offers young medical imaging professionals a tailored series of sessions aimed at providing them with survival tips and imaging tricks for the long careers ahead of them, and allow Trainees to emphasize topics and issues that are of significance to them. Alongside new features, the ECR 2023 program includes a variety of Advanced Courses, The Beauty of Basic Knowledge sessions, New Horizons sessions, Refresher Courses, ECR Master Classes, Image Interpretation Quizzes, Roundtable sessions, State-of-the-Art Symposia, Multidisciplinary and Professional Challenges sessions, and ESR Meets sessions.
