Siemens Healthineers (Erlangen, Germany) is presenting its entire range of product and services portfolio at Arab Health 2024 with several brand-new highlights, specifically in computed tomography and magnetic resonance, where the company is introducing visitors to its latest innovations.
At the 2024 edition of Arab Health, Siemens is highlighting the SOMATOM Pro.Pulse high-quality CT scanner with Dual Source technology that delivers the temporal resolution and scan speed needed to reduce motion artifacts in challenging patients. It also features myExam Companion which enhances the scanning experience for both users and patients. Siemens is also highlighting the MAGNETOM Free. MRI system featuring the world's first 80 cm bore that sets a new paradigm in patient comfort. Also being highlighted at the event is Biograph Vision.X PET/CT system with the industry's fastest time of flight (TOF) performance of 178 picoseconds (ps) providing outstanding performance gain of up to 20%, which in turn can translate to faster scans as well as lower injected dose and radiotracer costs.
Siemens is showcasing NAEOTOM Alpha, the world’s first photon-counting CT scanner that is designed to transform the information from X-ray photons passing through a patient's body and received by a detector, into a detailed 3-D. The images delivered by the system can be used by a trained physician as an aid in diagnosis or can be used by trained staff as an aid in diagnosis, treatment preparation, and radiation therapy planning. Additionally, Siemens is presenting the ACUSON Family of ultrasound systems that are designed to meet the clinical, operational, and financial needs in almost any clinical area. The ACUSON Family includes ACUSON Sequoia, ACUSON Redwood, ACUSON Juniper, and ACUSON P500 ultrasound systems. From ultra-premium to compact, these systems offer 12 new transducers to expand clinical flexibility, and new advanced tools for improved diagnostic accuracy and workflows.
